Black Rifle Coffee Company’s film production and marketing teams stopped by Burns headquarters to observe how a Burns 23R coffee roaster is built. Their visit resulted in this short video production.

The video presents opening day festivities of BRCC’s new facility and a brief history of Burns relationship with the U. S. military. It also captures the passion and craftsmanship that goes in to each signature Burns 23R ACO modular roaster.

We’re extremely pleased with the creative work produced by the BRCC team.

Jabez Burns Launches at Global Specialty Coffee Expo

By | News | No Comments

This past April, Jabez Burns exhibited at its first Global Specialty Coffee Expo in Seattle. It’s a “first” in the sense we exhibited exclusively as the Jabez Burns brand. While still part of Probat Inc., Jabez Burns has a unique story and a special following among coffee roasters, both of which we wanted to promote. In the broader setting of the Expo, our goal was to reinforce to the industry our classically modern roasters, parts, installation and service offerings continue to keep us deeply rooted in the roasting community.

Jabez Burns has the longest coffee heritage of any roaster. Many people attending the Expo didn’t realize we still build these American-made workhorses with its patented perforated drum, that we offer turnkey solutions, and provide green to ground services. It was a terrific story to tell not only to the North American audience but to international attendees as well. Our booth activity was non-stop for days.

The SCA Expo is the largest of show of its kind in the U.S. attracting over 3,300 exhibitors and 11,000 attendees from all over the world. The show is designed to be the coffee professional’s one stop shop for everything they need to succeed in the coffee industry. There are roasters, vendors, retailers, educational classes, certification programs, cupping and brewing labs, U.S. Coffee Championships a.k.a. barista competitions and, of course, coffee. Lots of it! We were thrilled to be a part of all the show had to offer.

It was a great experience for the Jabez Burns team and we’re looking forward to next year!
